Department Activity

 

The Sublette County Firefighters are starting another round of FF1 and FF2 online training with Shad Cooper, Wyoming State Fire Mashal's Office. This will culminate with a written test and hands-on practical tests. This will make them State and, if the choose, Pro-Board Certified.

The first group of students that finished their online class as well as their written test last May will be completing their Pro-Baord Certification at the Riverton Fire School, January 6th 2008.

Jan. 12 - Extinguishers, Water Supply, Hoses, Fire Streams (FF1 Skills)

Jan. 13 - Hydrants, Hose Tests, Master Stream, Foam, Cylinder Fires (FF2 Skills)

Feb. 16 - Protective Systems, Ladders, Ropes (FF1 Skills)

Mar. 8 - Search & Rescue, Forcible Entry, Ventilation (FF1 Skills)

Mar.9 - Vehicle Extrications FF2 Skills

Apr. 5 - Salvage, Overhaul, Support, Prevention, Vehicle, Grass Fire (FF1 Skills)

Apr. 6 - ICS Transfer, Incident Reports, Origin & Cause, Pre-Incident Surveys,(FF2 Skills)

Apr. 19 - Live Fire Evolutions (Green River Training Facility) (FF1 & FF2 Skills)

Apr. 23 - PROCTORED WRITTEN TEST (FINAL)

Apr. 26 - PRO-BOARD FIREFIGHTER 1 & 2 SKILLS TESTING (FINAL)

HazMat Awareness/ HazMat Ops - February 29th, March 1st, 2nd (Pinedale)
